🛠️ This front-mount license plate bracket fits 2025-2026 MK8.5 Golf R models and is intended for US (or same-size) license plates. It’s printed on a Bambu Labs printer for precision quality, using ASA filament for unmatched outdoor durability.
☀️ ASA is renowned for withstanding water, UV, and high heat, making it the perfect choice for long-lasting performance. The bracket mounts cleanly to the lower grill with M6 stainless screws, ensuring both strength and a flawless OEM-like fit.
Options:
🌟 Regular ASA – This is the default material choice; strong, handles outdoor elements and UV radiation. Comes in a shiny finish.
💎 Carbon Fiber ASA – Premium material choice; nearly DOUBLE the stiffness of regular ASA, with slightly higher heat resistance. This is NOT a carbon fiber weave – ASA-CF is ASA infused with carbon fibers.
🔩 Brass Inserts (Yes/No) - Your choice to include brass-threaded inserts for the license plate mounting (see photo for reference). Threads are more durable and will not strip as easily as plastic 3D printed threads.
📐Plate Size - Select either North American (US/Canada) or Australia. This determines the plate mount for your license plate size.

The design is great - the back fit perfectly and the bolts threaded fine (Pro-Tip - tape the back bolts with scotch tape, and then simply peel off) I used a torque wrench and it's a solid fit. Nice work!
This product is really good, really satisfying. It sucks to put a front plate on, but if you have to do it this is the way. These are our babies so here’s a few things I can confirm. There is absolutely no contact with the main plate frame and car. The mounting pieces are printed to extreme precision so there is no lateral movement of mount pieces. The actual contact points with the black facia are very small, the two raised ridges just above sensor and the horizontal curves just above and below. It’s not binding, too tight, too loose…like perfect. I made two modifications: I added small weatherproof tape pads to outer mount piece which are now sandwiched in so there is zero hard material contacting car (scotch extreme mounting tape, with thin nylon fabric added to one side to make it “one side sticky” only). These align with the contact points mentioned above. I also replaced the machine screws that came with kit with stainless ones. Lock nuts and plate screws were stainless already and these should be, too, even though they are completely invisible. I opted for carbon ASA and brass mounts are a must. It’s a seriously great solid bracket.
